An easy way to work out your earnings and costs

When setting up your private practice, earning enough to pay your bills each month is one of your first priorities.
One of the ways to do this is by setting the right fees. For help with this, you’ll find a handy business earnings projection calculator in the downloads section of the Private Practice Hub.
This simple interactive Excel spreadsheet helps you work out how much to charge by calculating your overheads. Crucially, it prompts you to think about often overlooked costs,  such as DNAs, cancellations, and time off through holidays or training.
To download the spreadsheet, go here to become a member (it’s free), or, if you’re already a member, login here. You can then access your member’s only area which is packed full of free resources.
Others include a list of online directories for therapists, a list of referrers and a number of therapy business templates and letters.
