Running your own practice can be extremely rewarding, but it can also be isolating, especially if you work from home. We asked members of our Linkedin group, ‘UK Therapists in Private Practice‘, for their experience and advice. We’ve received some great responses. Tips include:
– Being a member of professional associations and networking groups
– Meeting up informally with other therapists, for a coffee and chat or simple get together
– Keeping up with professional reading and CPD
– Making sure you incorporate exercise and social activities into your day
