ManyCam releases major update to make video calls even better

If, like me, you also rely on high quality video software to run your professional appointments with clients, this will come as welcome news indeed. The popular webcam software ManyCam, which can be used alongside most video applications such as Skype, YouTube and Badoo, has just undergone a major update to enhance quality.
The new update, ManyCam 5, includes a brand new user interface, several feature enhancements, and a better range of products to suit most budgets and requirements. At Private Practice Hub we are especially happy to see the range now starting with a free basic version, which has limited functionality, but can still improve both the audio and visual quality of video calls. The range then continues with a standard version, priced at $24.95 (that’s roughly £20), followed by the more comprehensive Pro and Enterprise versions.
The most important feature, perhaps, to therapists is ManyCam’s ability to split and share screens, as well as record sessions, all in studio-quality. Another interesting feature worth noting is that the ManyCam mobile app is fully compatible with the Windows and Mac versions, so you can connect multiple devices to your account and live stream directly from your smartphone or tablet.
For the tech-savvy of therapists, you may appreciate two new advanced features – Lower Third and Chroma Key. Lower Third lets you add important information in the bottom portion of your video, while Chroma Key is like a green screen that will allow you to alter your background.
ManyCam are currently offering a 35% discount on the Studio and Enterprise versions. Private Practice Hub members can claim a further 20% discount until 31st January 2017 using the promo code AFF20WNT.
You can find out more about the software here, or even get started with the free download and see how your video calls can be enhanced.
