The business of therapy expert panels and everything rehabilitation professionals need in one event – COPA 2017

blob-decoration<

If you run a physical rehabilitation practice, there aren’t many opportunities to meet and quiz business experts from within the sector, but once a year ExCeL in London plays host to thousands of professionals and experts from the rehabilitation sector doing just that. They come to learn new ways to grow and improve their businesses and discover the most up to date professional knowledge and technology.
COPA Series is Europe’s leading event for practice owners. The show hosts 85 expert-led CPD accredited seminars, 200 suppliers of the most revolutionary new products on the market, networking & idea sharing, case studies, masterclasses, inspiring presentations, UK exclusive product launches and live demonstrations – and it’s all completely free to attend!
The event takes place at ExCeL, London, on the 7th and 8th June and as the Private Practice Hub have partnered with the organisers, you can register for a free ticket.
Among the speakers for seminars that delve into various aspects of practice growth, you’ll find Jill Woods – a non-practicing podiatrist, working in PR and marketing. She’ll be shedding light on where your practice marketing is falling short and how you can fix it. Warren Cass, the champion of small business, will be talking about how you can add value to your brand and engage with your target audience.
And, of course, we will be running two expert panels on the business of therapy, together with experienced therapists and business owners within the health and wellbeing sector. There will be one Private Practice Hub expert panel discussion each day (Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th) and we are encouraging visitors to bring their own burning questions, be that marketing, finance, HR, professional issues or admin related.
Another interesting seminar will be Gail Biddulph’s about how your cognitive processes could be the factor that’s holding your business back, and how you can train your brain to improve the performance of your practice. And there’s also Major Mark Jenkins, a serving Officer in the British Army with 12 years of experience in military rehabilitation working in Primary care, at the Defence Medical Centre Headley Court and on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He’ll be speaking at COPA about his work in the rehabilitation of British servicemen and how he’s helped them overcome life-changing injuries.
As one of the UK’s leading Physiotherapists, David Clancy has worked for Isokinetic Medical Group and FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence as a chartered physiotherapist specialising in sports medicine and rehabilitation. He will be speaking about the role of neuro-motor exercise training in the return-to-training strategy, a usually under-valued missing link in the rehabilitation pathway.
Supplying the latest products and tech are over 200 world-class exhibitors. Among them the likes of RockTape UK, the College of Bowen Studies (creator of the Bowen Technique) and Hocoma AG, who will be bringing their award-winning robotics and sensory based devices.
So there will be plenty to see, hear and even trial (we’ve been promised live demos and exclusive product launches to see cutting-edge technology from each sector), so it’s an event worth travelling to if you’re based outside of London. Register for your free ticket online and make a note to attend our expert panels to delve deeper into the business of therapy.
We’ll see you there.
