How could becoming a coach help my practice?

I am already a counsellor. How could becoming a coach help my practice?
Becoming a coach will not only supplement your existing professional skills, but will open you up to a whole range of new clients. Many people may not be drawn to counselling, in part due to how counselling can be perceived by people, and also due to the problems they are wishing to solve. Coaching is used widely within organisations and businesses, offering support for people not looking to solve problems but to develop their performance, career pathways or excellence in any aspect of their professional or personal lives. These agendas are not life difficulties that need easing, or psychological disorders needing resolution, but are life aspirations that need fulfilling. Coaching is a great fit for that purpose and you can develop your practice in all of those directions.
