Psychology and counselling services for adults with and without learning disabilities and other conditions that might prevent access to therapy....
My Services:

Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology Services Hi, I’m Ben. People with or without learning disabilities come to see me because they are struggling with worries or sadness that they just can’t seem to overcome on their own. They often feel overwhelmed, helpless or lost, but know that if they could learn ways to understand and cope with their feelings, they would feel better. Through my years of training and practice, I’ve learned ways to help people achieve this and can offer guidance in developing skills so people can feel more like themselves again. People also see me to discuss difficulties with their work or to understand how they can develop their learning and skills. I’ve learned ways to help people reflect on their work and grow professionally. Counselling can provide a space to try to make sense of problems, relationships, feelings and behaviour. It might help in creating insights or options in your life.  Life experiences and challenges apply to a range of vulnerable people. For some, there may be reliance on care providers or services to seek out therapeutic support on their behalf. Support can be offered to individuals or the people around them that provide care. I am able to offer appointments quickly and flexibly in an effort to reduce any discomfort waiting for counselling and, to help people work around their ongoing routines in life. Visits can be arranged or, appointments can be held at a community centre.
