Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a masters degree with Salford university for counselling and psychotherapy and have a wide range of experience working currently within the NHS as a therapist. I manage my time between my role here and at a charitable organisation in Huddersfield. During my time as a qualified therapist, I have also undertaken training in (ACT) acceptance and commitment therapy, (DBT) dialectical behavioural therapy “skills coaching” training and a mindfulness teaching qualification.
I pride myself in being an integrative therapist, who can tailor your sessions to suit your needs using a wide range of core theories.
my background prior to being a therapist stems from a 12 year career in mental health settings, working predominantly in secondary care within hospitals collaboratively working within a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, other therapists and social workers

Monday-Friday £45 per session
Weekend sessions available at request with an extra fee
