I have been in private practice for six years and counselled young people, adults of all ages and couples. I tailor the sessions to suit the client as counselling is very subjective and each individual responds to different types of counselling. As a counsellor I have counselled in primary schools and also at a community college counselling students with a diverse range of issues. In addition to my private practice I was a volunteer for six years with Cruse Bereavement Care. I have worked with children, young people and adults of all ages and backgrounds within the Health Authority, Local Authority and the voluntary sector. As a tutor for young people and adults with learning and other disabilities I facilitated groups on emotions, coping with stress and anger, self esteem and confidence building as well as relationship and bereavement.
