We offer psychological therapy drawing upon a range of models and approaches, parenting support, training and consultation. Percuro Psychology was established by Dr Melita Housley BSc (Hons), DClinPsy, CPsychol, who is a HCPC registered clinical psychologist, chartered with the BPS. We aim to offer an appointment within 2 weeks of you contacting us and offer evening and weekend appointments to fit around school hours. We can liaise with local NHS services to support a transition if you wish to access support from us whilst you are awaiting NHS treatment. I hold a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Staffordshire University and have undertaken post qualification CPD training in CFT, DDP and CBT. I have over 15 years experience within the NHS working with both adults and children with a range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, behavioural issues, low self esteem and issues relating to parenting. As well as private practice, I currently hold a part time NHS post specialising in working with children in care, their foster carers and wider systems.
I am chartered with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
