Hello my name is Helen and I run ‘Tellus’ a counselling and coaching service. I’m a BACP accredited and registered Person Centred Counsellor. I also work as a Human Resources professional and I’m a Chartered member of CIPD. I am on the health insurance Private Practice Register (PPR) for Aviva Insurance, Vitality Health and BUPA.
I qualified as a counsellor in 2000 and since qualifying I have also trained as an Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioner, an ILM Coach (level 5) and I hold a certificate in Play Therapy.
My private practice is based in Enfield (EN1) where I have the privilege to work with adults and young people providing both long term and short term therapy.
In addition to my private practice I work independently as a school counsellor providing group and individual supervision, counselling and coaching for staff and a counselling provision for the students. The school is designated as an LD, ASD and SLCN school. I have delivered a service at the school since 2001.
I’ve worked with adults and young people dealing with relationships, stress, anxiety and anger management. Some of the other areas people have explored at Tellus include bereavement counselling for people and animals, issues around self-esteem, developing self-awareness, family issues, pre-bereavement support, work related stress, bullying, abuse, self-harm, travel anxiety, eating disorders, living with Aspergers and being on the Autistic spectrum.
