Hello and a warm welcome.
It takes a great deal of bravery and determination to reach out to a therapist. There are also a wide range of approaches, which may complicate things and leave you feeling at a bit of a loss as to which is the right approach for you. I work using a range of approaches from different schools of psychotherapy including Person-centred, Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic, Existential and Compassion-Focused Theory, as I believe everything depends on the given individual. At the core of my approach is the relationship between client and therapist.
I see my role as a therapist as one of being a companion to walk beside my clients as they cross bridges to new understandings of themselves and their life meaning. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment, free of judgement, where we can gently explore together what is going on for you. We work collaboratively, with my role being to support you in coming to understand and overcome the difficulties you are going through.
I can help with a variety of issues from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues, stress, bereavement, abuse, and trauma to name a few. Please feel free to browse through my website and get in contact with me to schedule a consultation where we can explore what is going on for you and how I can assist you.
