PWTAC@DEMY’s next Diploma in Online Counselling and Psychotherapy is due to start in September. All those doing the course are highly qualified face to face therapists.
As part of their online diploma training they are required to provide at least 20 hours of online counselling. Some will have clients that they are already working with, but others need some clients.
The offer is 6 weeks of online therapy provided free of charge. All of the course students are required to be in online therapy themselves and to receive regular online supervision from a qualified online supervisor, as required and highly recommended by BACP.
The course is around 275 hours of teaching and study. The provision of the therapy will be via either email, live chat or video – it is the client who chooses.
