Living life can be complex and it often takes courage to open up to others. Sometimes speaking to friends and family is a good place to begin… and sometimes more is needed. Working with the right counsellor – feeling a connection through being understood – is key. I am a BACP accredited counsellor with over 15 years’ experience, bringing warmth and sensitivity to my work. Please get in touch for professional support around coming to terms with difficult feelings, thoughts and life events. People who come for counselling are ordinary people who are experiencing life as being painful. This may be due to problems in a relationship, the loss of a loved one, work-related stress, anxiety or perhaps a general sense of unhappiness. Talking to a trained counsellor is a way of understanding your life and, through this process, starting to think differently, feel differently and choose different behaviours and actions.
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the University of East London. This professional training was accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I also integrate some CBT and solution-focused approaches into my work. I am a Registered BACP Accredited Counsellor (MBACP Accred) and I adhere to the BACP’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
I have been a BACP accredited counsellor since 2009.
I charge £50 per session.
