Detox at Home

53 Hullbrook Road, B13 0LA
Clients will be visited and monitored daily were medication is left for each day. Alcohol Detox can take 7-10 days....
My Services:

Covering Birmingham and the West Midlands offering a detox in the comfort of their own home. I am a fully qualified nurse with years of experience in substance misuse and have the support of similar nurses in the field. Following a comprehensive assessment, clients are asked to obtain a recent blood test to check their liver and kidney function. For a small fee, we can arrange this. Clients will require someone with them to support them throughout the detox. They will be visited and monitored daily. For clients with alcohol dependency, they will be offered vitamin injections.  I can also offer Auricular Acupuncture (at no extra cost).  If their GP is not involved, I can prescribe the medications for the detox.

Training, qualifications and experience:

BSc(hons) Mental Health Studies, Post Grad Dip in Psychotherapy, Higher Award in Nursing. Non-Medical Prescriber. Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Registered Manager Award. Dip in Counselling. Cert in Substance Misuse Dependency Nursing. Dip in Leadership and Management. I worked as a volunteer counsellor for 16 yrs and a Psychiatric Nurse specialising in Substance Misuse since 1988. This has included various postions in Community, Inpatient Services, Residential Rehab via NHS, Charities, Voluntry Services and Private Practices.
