Are you feeling anxious, sad, depressed, struggling with relationships? If so, then I offer you the opportunity to explore your difficulties where you will be heard in confidence and will be free to talk without fear of judgement.
I am Sabbir Ahmed, an experienced psychotherapist (UKCP), working in the NHS and in private practice. Over the past two decades, I have been fortunate to gain a wealth of experience supporting people from all walks of life through issues including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, suicidal ideation, trauma and coping with major life changes. After completing my psychotherapy training, I have also specialised in family/relationship work.
In therapy, I help my clients to find out what is causing the difficulties and then help with potential solutions. I also suggest possible strategies for resolving problems, and teach specific skills to help my clients to overcome their challenges more effectively.
The beautiful journey of today can only begin when we learn from yesterday and let go and then thrive for tomorrow. In your journey, I can guide you to navigate not only the strains and stresses which you are struggling with in everyday life, but to overcome those stresses and anxieties which are keeping you stuck and taking up all your energy and space in life.
If we are not able to handle our anxieties and stresses which can stem from various factors, they grow bigger and show up in our everyday life, at work, in our relationships, in our sleep, which can seriously affect our health.
The truth is that we all deserve to live a stress-free and healthy life. I have dedicated my life to support individuals and families to tackle the challenges which we face in our emotional and mental health.
My promise is that I will be fully present for you in every session — supporting both heart and soul, inspiring you to look forward to a meaningful life again.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
